LCC Funding Priorities Session

Dear Members of Church of the Cross,

On January 17, 2026, a number of our members gathered at the church to discuss together the funding priorities of the proceeds from the sale of Luther House as well as the proceeds of the Eva Baird Memorial fund.  It was a meeting that built on one held a year ago, in January 2025.  We had a good turnout and some great discussion.  Church Council wants to share the summary of that day.  There are two documents attached – one a summary of the activities and priorities of that day.  And the second document is a “Fact Sheet” which gives some info on the proceeds of the sale of property as well as the Eva Baird fund.

Thank you so much to those who were able to attend the session and provide valuable information that Church Council has taken under advisement as they work on the 2026 budget.
