Prayers and Anointing for Healing – this Sunday, December 8, in Worship
Three or four times a year as part of Sunday Worship we offer those who wish, prayers and anointing for healing during Holy Communion. The prayers offer God’s blessing for healing and wholeness and a tangible expression of that blessing with the sign of the cross with oil on our foreheads. A prayer for healing is not the expectation of a miraculous cure, but trusting that God brings wholeness and peace in all circumstances. There will be two places to receive the prayers – at the font and the prayer wall. Feel free to go before or after Communion. All are welcome. If you have any questions, please speak with Pastor Lyndon or Pastor Lyle.
